IMPORTANT!
Risk of damage
• The tyre warmer set is designed exclusively for pre-heating motorcycle racing
tyres (slicks) with the aforementioned dimensions, and must not be used
for any other purposes. All other use will void the guarantee and can cause
personal injury and material damage.
• Before using the tyre warmer set, always make sure that the motorcycle has
been jacked up reliably and securely at the front and rear using paddock stands
which are suitable for both the purpose and the motorcycle. When fitted, the
tyre warmers must not be loaded by the weight of the vehicle and must not
touch the floor.

5 | How to use

5.1 | Preparation

Jack up the vehicle with a suitable front and rear paddock stand with sufficient load-bearing capacity
so that both tyres are at least 5 cm from the floor. Check the air pressure in both tyres as directed
by the manufacturer of the motorcycle or tyres. Select the correct tyre warmer for the front and rear
tyre.

5.2 | Use

Take hold of the respective tyre warmer by the hook-and-loop strap, and place it on the tyre with the
logo at the top. Make sure that the tyre warmer is positioned in the middle of the tyre and wrap the
hook-and-loop strap around the rim. Then, turn the wheel slowly and carefully so that it moves away
from you and draws the tyre warmer onto the wheel. Make sure that the tyre warmer does not get
caught on any other parts of the motorcycle (e.g. fork, swing arm, brake, chain) and make sure that it
comes to a rest evenly in the middle of the tyre. After turning the wheel one revolution, tie both ends
with the hook-and-loop strap.
Once both tyre warmers have been fitted, you can connect them to an earthed socket. An orange
LED lights up to indicate the heating phase. It switches to green when the tyre has reached the ideal
operating temperature of approximately 70°C. The tyre warmer will then maintain this constant
temperature, and the orange and green LEDs light up alternately.
WARNING!
Risk of fire!
• If the orange indicator lamp does not go out, this may be due to cold ambient
air, for example.
