3. INSTALLATION
3.3 - Raccordement avec soudure
(kit accessoires - code 42770)
1. Couper le bandeau LED à angle droit à la dimension souhaitée, selon le pas de découpe
visible à travers la gaine.

2. Évider l'extrémité de la gaine, de façon à découvrir les platines de cuivre pour effectuer la
g/Soldering/Intall end cap
soudure.
3. Souder le câble d'alimentation sur le PCB à l'aide d'un fer à souder adapté, en veillant à
respecter la polarité des fils avec les platines de cuivre (+/+ , -/-).
4. Enfiler le câble d'alimentation et injecter la colle fournie dans l'embout - environ 1/3 - 1/2 du
bouchon, pour assurer l'étanchéité du dispositif.
5. Pousser l'embout sur le bandeau LED pour fermer le dispositif. Après avoir injecté la colle, le
bandeau LED doit être posé à plat pendant 2h avant toute autre manipulation.
6. Appliquer la colle fournie sur l'autre extrémité du bandeau LED et installer l'embout de finition
par-dessus. Après avoir injecté la colle, le bandeau LED doit être posé à plat pendant 2h avant

toute autre manipulation. La colle sèche complètement au bout de 24h.

3.4 - Installation du connecteur inter-bandeaux
(code 42771)
1. Insérer l'extrémité du premier bandeau LED dans le connecteur, en respectant le sens des
broches.
2. Insérer l'extrémité du deuxième bandeau LED de l'autre côté du connecteur, en respectant le
sens des broches.
3. Entourer chaque partie du connecteur + bandeaux LED avec un fermoir (2 au total).
4. Presser les fermoirs en laissant les baïonnettes glisser dans les fentes correspondantes
5. Vérifier le bon maintien de l'installation.
ATTENTION : l'ajout de colle est impérative pour assurer l'étanchéité de la connexion.

3.3 - Connection with soldering
(accessories kit - code 42770)
1. Cut the LED strip at a right angle to the desired size, according to the cut-out visible through
the housing.
2. Hollow out the end of the housing so as to uncover the copper plates for soldering.
3. Solder the power cable to the PCB using a suitable soldering iron, making sure to match the
polarity of the wires with the copper plates (+ / +, - / -).

4. Thread the power cable and inject the glue provided into the nozzle - about 1/3 - 1/2 of the
cap, to ensure that the device is watertight.
5. Push the cap onto the end of the LED strip to close the device. After injecting the glue, the LED
strip must be laid flat for 2 hours before proceeding.
6. Apply the glue provided on the other end of the LED strip and fix the cap on top. After injecting

the glue, the LED strip must be laid flat for 2 hours before proceeding. It takes 24 hours for the
glue to dry completely.

3.4 - Installing the inter-strip connector
(code 42771)
1. Insert the end of the first LED strip into the connector, observing the direction of the pins.
2. Insert the end of the second LED strip into the other end of the connector, observing the
direction of the pins.
3. Enclose each part of the connector + LED strips with a clasp (2 in total).
4. Press the clasps, letting the bayonets slide into the corresponding slots.
5. Check that the installation is secure.
CAUTION: adding glue is essential to ensure the watertightness of the connection.

3. INSTALLATIE
3.3 - Gelaste aansluiting
(accessoirekit – code 42770)
1. Snijd de ledstrip in een rechte hoek op de gewenste maat en volgens het uitsnijdingspunt dat u
door de mantel heen ziet.
2. Maak het uiteinde van de mantel vrij zodat de koperplaatjes zichtbaar worden om het
soldeerwerk uit te voeren.
3. Soldeer de voedingskabel op de koperplaatjes met behulp van een aangepaste soldeerbout en
respecteer daarbij de polariteit van de draden en de koperen plaatjes (+/+, -/-).
4. Plaats de voedingskabel en injecteer de meegeleverde lijm in het eindstuk – ongeveer 1/3-1/3
van de dop – om de waterdichtheid te verzekeren.
5. Druk het eindstuk op de ledstrip om de strip af te sluiten. Nadat u de lijm hebt geïnjecteerd,
dient u de ledstrip gedurende 2 uur vlak te leggen alvorens u een andere bewerking uitvoert.
6. Breng de meegeleverde lijm aan op het andere uiteinde van de ledstrip en plaats het afwer-
kingsstuk erbovenop. Nadat u de lijm hebt geïnjecteerd, dient u de ledstrip gedurende 2 uur vlak
te leggen alvorens u een andere bewerking uitvoert. De lijm is volledig droog na 24 uur.

3.4 - Installatie van het verbindingsstuk tussen de strips
(code 42771)
1. Schuif het uiteinde van de eerste ledstrip in het verbindingsstuk en respecteer daarbij de
richting van de pinnen.
2. Schuif het uiteinde van de tweede ledstrip langs de andere kant in het verbindingsstuk en
respecteer daarbij de richting van de pinnen.
3. Omrand elk deel van het verbindingsstuk + de ledstrip met een afsluitstuk (2 in het totaal).
4. Druk de afsluitstukken dicht en laat de bajonetten in de overeenkomstige spleten schuiven.
5. Controleer of de installatie goed houdt.
OPGELET: om de dichtheid van de aansluiting te verzekeren, moet er steeds lijm worden gebruikt.
