IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

Before starting to use the fan please read through all the
instructions. Keep this manual in a safe place for future
reference.
1. Supervision is needed when the fan is used anywhere
near children. Keep the remote control at a location where
it is inaccessible to children.
2. Only connect the fan to a single-phase power socket
with the current as stated on the appliance type plate.
3. Switch the fan off and disconnect the power plug (1)
from the power socket when the fan is not in use, or when
it is moved, handled or cleaned. Do not tug at the power
cord (1) to disconnect the plug.
4. Unwind the power cord (1) completely. An incompletely
unwound power cord (1) can lead to overheating and
cause a fire.
5. Do not use an infinitely variable speed controller. This
can lead to overheating, fire, electric shock and faults in
the appliance.
6. The fan must only be used after it has been completely
and correctly mounted, as described under the "mounting
instructions".
7. Do not plunge the fan into water or any other liquids
and do not pour water or any other liquids over the fan or
the remote control. Make sure that the remote control (3)
is not exposed to direct sunrays.
8. Clean the fan and the remote control (3) regularly and
observe the cleaning instructions.
9. The fan may only be used in accordance with the
instructions in this user manual. Non-observance of this
user manual can lead to injuries, fire or electric shock.
10. Only use batteries type CR2025 in the remote control.
When you replace the battery, only use new CR2025
batteries, dispose of the old battery in an environmentally
suitable way according to local regulations.
11. If you do not wish to use the remote control (3) for a
longer period (4 weeks or more), take the battery out of
the remote control.
12. The fan is intended only for private use indoors and
not designed for commercial use. Do not use the fan
anywhere near a bathtub, a shower or a swimming-pool or
at any location where water could splash.
13. Do not operate the fan if it is damaged or might be
defective, or if it is not working properly. Remove the
power plug (1) from the socket.
14. Stand the fan on a level, firm and dry surface. Make
sure the fan is standing securely so that it cannot tip over
or fall down. A safety distance of at least 50cm from other
objects must be observed.
15. If the power cord (1) of the fan is damaged it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or at a manufacturer appro-
ved repair shop, or by similarly qualified persons, so as to
avoid damage.

FIRST TIME OF USE
1. Read through all the instructions before starting to use
the fan.
2. Unpack the fan, the power cable with the power plug (1)
and the five cross recess screws (14). Remove all the
packaging materials and dispose of them for recycling.
3. Mount the fan according to the "mounting instructions".
The fan must be completely and correctly installed before
use.
4. Stand the fan on a level, firm and dry surface. Make
sure the fan is standing securely so that it cannot tip over
or fall down. A safety distance of at least 50cm from other
objects must be observed.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. First put the rear base (11) onto the underside of the
fan and secure it with two large cross recess screws (14).
Then press the front base (10) with the four track ope-
nings provided (13) onto the four track bars (12) of the
rear base (11). Secure the front base (10) on the undersi-
