Now fix the two bases (10 + 11) together by turning the
two small cross recess screws (14) clockwise into the
openings provided on the outer track bars (12).
2. Stand the fan in an upright position.
3. Take the battery holder (17) out of the battery compart-
ment (16) on the side of the remote control (3). Remove
the protective film (18) from the battery. Replace the bat-
tery in the battery holder (17) and push it back completely
into the battery compartment (16).
4. Push the remote control (3) with the flat side at the
front and the control keys pointing upwards into the remo-
te control slot (19).

REMOTE CONTROL

1. The remote control (3) contains a battery type CR2025
and is ready to use when you have removed the protective
film (18) from the battery as described in the "mounting
instructions". The maximum distance for sending signals
from the remote control (3) to the fan is three meters.
Make sure that no objects can interrupt signal transmis-
sion.
2. When you are not using the remote control (3), store it
in the remote control slot (19).
3. When you wish to take the remote control (3) out of its
slot (19), press the remote control (3) lightly into the slot
(19). The remote control (3) is then released from the slot
(19) and juts slightly out of the fan casing. Now you can
take hold of the remote control (3) and pull it out of the
slot (19).
4. When you replace the battery, only use new CR2025
batteries, dispose of the old battery in an environmentally
suitable way according to local regulations.
5. When you do not wish to use the remote control (3) for
a longer period (4 weeks or more), take the battery out of
the remote control (3).
USER INSTRUCTIONS
1. Stand the fan on a level, firm and dry surface. Make
sure the fan is standing securely so that it cannot tip over
or fall down. A safety distance of at least 50cm from other
objects must be observed.
2. Make sure that the fan is switched OFF. Insert the power
plug (1) into the power socket and before starting to ope-
rate the fan also remove the protective film (18) from the
battery.
3. You can operate the fan manually via the control panel
(2) or with the remote control (3).
4. Press the power key

The fan operates with the normal fan function.
6. Press the oscillation key
of the fan. The oscillation key (6) lights up red. To stop the
oscillation, press the oscillation key (6) again. The control
lamp goes off.
7. The fan is equipped with an ionizer function which
negatively charges air particles flowing through and thus
refreshes the air. Press the ionizer key
the ionizer on. The ionizer key (7) lights up red. To switch
this function off, press the ionizer key (7) again. The con-
trol lamp goes off.
8. The fan is equipped with a timer function. This function
switches the fan off after the preset time period. The pre-
settable time period is two, four or eight hours. By repea-
tedly pressing the timer key

Press x 1: 2 hours – the key (8) lights up red
Press x 2: 4 hours – the key (8) lights up orange
Press x 3: 8 hours – the key (8) lights up green
To deactivate the timer function, press the timer key (8)
repeatedly until the control lamp no longer lights up.
9. To transport the fan use the transport handle (15). Befo-
re transporting the fan, switch it off with the power key (4)
and disconnect the power plug (1) from the socket.
10. When you no longer wish to use the fan, switch if off
with the power key (4) and disconnect the power plug (1)
from the socket.

CLEANING, STORAGE, DISPOSAL

We recommend you to clean the fan and the remote con-
trol (3) regularly.
So as not to impair the functioning of the fan and the
remote control (3), please observe the following instruc-
tions.
Cleaning
1. Before you start with the cleaning, switch the fan off by
pressing the power key (4) and disconnect the power plug
(1) from the socket. Take the battery out of the remote
control (3).
