1 - INSTAllATIoN PRecAUTIoNS

IMPORTANT: Read this instruction manual carefully before
placing this device.

1.1 - general

• If these installation instructions are not observed. the
manufacturer declines all responsibility and any warranty
will become invalid.
• For a problem-free installation it is important to choose a
qualified installer and to follow the operation sequence in
the introduction.
• Inspect the device upon receipt in order to check for possible
damage caused during transport or by incorrect handling.
If damage is found, immediately file a claim with the
transport company.

1.2 - Protection against electrocution

• The power must be disconnected before connecting the
device.
• Observe all applicable national safety standards.

1.3 - general installation requirements

• After the installation, carry out a complete system check
and explain all system functions to the user.
• Leave this manual with the user for his reference during
future maintenance operations.
• In case of a fault switch the device off, disconnect it from all
power supplies and call the after-sales service.
• Dispose of the packaging materials in accordance with
local regulations.

ATTENTION
- Place the microterminal controller (ZUI2) in a position
where the room temperature is typical.
- Do not damage the temperature sensor at the top of the
box.
- The wall support (option) is attached with four screws.
The wiring must comply with professional standards and with
all applicable regulations:
• Ensure that the polarity of the connections is correct.
• The connection cable shielding must be connected to the
controller earth.
• Ensure that high-voltage cables are not transposed.

ATTENTION
- Do not position this device on a section of the wall that
contains pipes or cables.
- Avoid heat sources, air currents, direct sun-light and badly
ventilated locations.

During transport or storage, the microterminal controller ZUI2
must be kept in the following conditions:
Temperature range
Relative humidity range

3 - geNeRAl DeScRIPTIoN

The microterminal controller ZUI2 (Zone User Interface)
permits control of hydronic terminal units to adjust the comfort
parameters in your room. It can also control the lights and the
blinds, if it is linked to a Power Module II (PM II)
The microterminal controller ZUI2 is compatible with all
terminal units equipped with the NTC controller.
