3. Adjustable pointers

3. Adjustable pointers
The setting of the pointers described in this chapter can be made at the measuring point by
authorised personnel. The setting of the pointers is to be made without opening the case, as
described below, otherwise the warranty is voided.

3.1 Red mark pointer on the window

Mark pointers indicate the defined limit value of the relevant process. The setting of this mark
pointer is achieved using the adjustment lock in the window with the aid of the adjustment
key.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury from incorrect operation!
Attempting to adjust the pointer without a suitable adjustment key or turning the
adjustment lock directly can lead to the damage of the window with sharp-edged
fractures. With filled instruments, the case filling can leak as a result of a broken
window.
Only carry out the pointer setting with the intended adjustment key.
The setting of the mark pointer is carried out as follows:

1. Unscrew the cover of the adjustment lock anticlockwise.
2. Carefully insert the adjustment key into the adjustment lock delivered with the instru-

lock.
3. Turn the adjustment key until the mark pointer indicates the desired scale value.
4. Withdraw the adjustment key and screw the cover of the adjustment lock tight again.
