7.4.1.7 100 A Service Entrance Breakers

Step 1: Turn the utility (Source 1) power off and turn the genera-
tor (Source 2) control selector switch to the "OFF" posi-
tion before attempting to replace the service entrance
breaker.
Step 2: Disconnect the cables from the lugs on the service
entrance breaker.
Step 3: Remove the two (2) cables that connect to the contactor.

Step 4: Align the new service entrance breaker with the mounting
bracket.
Step 5: Reconnect the cables to the lugs on the service entrance
breaker.
Step 6: Apply utility (Source 1) power and place the generator
control selector switch in the "AUTO" position after the
service entrance breaker has been replaced. Test the
system for proper functionality.
