Mounting on the Tractor
Seed-Controller
You will find the instructions for the use of the Seed-
Controller in a separate section and a quick-guide, which will
state a brief list of the functions during the field work.
The drills computer (Seed-Controller) shall be placed in the
tractor cabin by means of the supplied bracket, which may be
attached on any existing mounting plate or bored into the
instrument panel/pillar. The Seed-Controlller should be
mounted in your peripheral vision, as this will help you drive
more accurately and make it easier to keep a check of what
the Seed-Controller is doing.
The Seed-Controller is connected to the tractor via a three-pin
plug that requires a 12v supply, and the cable from the seeder
should be connected at the bottom of the box. Check cables
and plugs for defects and dirt before the connection.
A quick way to check that the Seed-Controller is connected
properly is to operate the bout markers, if the controller dose
not recognises a change in the bouting there is a good chance
that there is a problem with the plug or cable
When the Seed-Controller is not used, it should be stored in
order to protect against dust and rain
The sensor for the level indicator in the hopper may be
adjusted in height depending on the driver's requirement for
alarm in the cab.
