With the extremity stretched, rotate the lower brace until the foot is in the foot section.
Then make sure that the heel fi ts well at the rear edge of the foot section.
At the same time, place the plastic shells around the calf and ankle

Once the brace has been set to the correct length, lock the setting by tightening
the screws 15 (fi g. N).

Tighten the straps around the calf and secure with the Velcro
If the straps are too long, cut to length.

Close the strap at the instep using the Velcro

If possible make sure that the alignment has been made correctly so that the joints
are not strained incorrectly when walking. If need be, correct the settings.
If the treating doctor has prescribed the locking of the joint at knee height, take
the screw from the compartment next to the joint and insert into the securing
opening (fi g. R). With the brace locked, the fl exion is 8°.
