Connection
Sensors up to a total length of 25 m or a total area of 5 m
The contact elements are to be connected in series and the last sensor will have a quiescent
current resistance, which is 8.2 kΩ.
If sensors are only connected to one sensor input, the other sensor input must be terminated,
otherwise a "Sensor Error" fault will be displayed. The supplied 8.2 kΩ resistance can be used
for this purpose.

Maintenance and trouble shooting
After the device has been correctly mounted and installed and if the technical data are obser-
ved, it will operate without any maintenance being required. The safety system must never-
theless be checked at regular intervals for correct functioning (every month or in accordance
with higher level regulations). The sensors and feed lines must also be checked for mechani-
cal damage.
Proceed as follows if the function is not assured based on the wiring in the circuit diagram and
both yellow or red LEDs light up at the same time:
1. Press reset button (min. 1 sec.)
2. Check all sensors for actuation or damage
3. Check sensor resistances (typically 8.2 kΩ); for this measurement the sensor may not be
connected to terminals 1/2 and 3/4.
4. Start up again
There is a unit fault if both red LEDs continue to light up afterwards.
checking.
