CAUTION: THE EARTH CABLE CONNECTOR AND THE
TORCH POWER CABLE CONNECTED AS ABOVE WILL RE-
SULT IN STRAIGHT POLARITY WELDING. THIS GENERATOR
IS NOT SUITABLE FOR GTAW (TIG) WELDING WITH RE-
VERSE POLARITY.
4.
Insert the cylinder gas pipe into this fitting (Rif.12 - Picture 2
Page 5.) and secure with a hose clamp.
5.
Connect the torch gas pipe to the gas outlet fitting (Rif.9 - Pic-
ture 1 Page 4.) (Front panel).
6.
Press the illuminated switch to turn on the power source
(Rif.1 - Picture 1 Page 4.) .
7.
Select the wants modality (Rif.5 - Picture 1 Page 4.) .

FUNCTIONS
1 - ON - OFF SWITCH this switch (Rif.1 - Picture 1
Page 4.) has two positions: : I = ON - O = OFF.
2 - POST GAS REGULATION Regulation (Rif.2 -
Picture 1 Page 4.) of the delay time of the extinction
gas with screw-driver as regards the extinction of
the welding arc. Regulation time from 2 to 20 sec-
onds.
3 - AMPERAGE SELECTOR Use control knob
(Rif.3 - Picture 1 Page 4.) to regulate welding cur-
rent.
4 - OVERHEATING WARNING LIGHT The yellow
LED (Rif.4 - Picture 1 Page 4.) on the front panel in-
dicates overheating due to an excessive duty cycle.
Interrupt welding operation; leave the power source
on until the lamp goes out, thereby signalling that
temperature has returned to normal.
5 - WELDING MODE SELECTOR Select with the
switch (Rif.5 - Picture 1 Page 4.) the wished welding
modality .
Manual GTAW (TIG) welding
Appliance preset for GTAW (TIG) welding with slope
down. Press the torch push button to switch the
welding current on. When the pushbutton is re-
leased the current will gradually diminish until it
switches off.
Automatic GTAW (TIG) welding.
torch push button provides four functions.
The first time it is pressed, the gas flow is enabled
and when released the welding current comes on.
The second time the torch push button is pressed,
the slope down is enabled (welding current gradual-
ly diminishes until it switches off) and when released
the welding current is cut off.
Appliànce preset for coated electrode welding.
6 - SLOPE DOWN REGULATION
The regulation of (Rif.6 - Picture 1 Page 4.) slope
down time can be set continuosly from 0.2 to 10 sec-
onds and works after the release of push-botton
torch.
7 - PRE GAS REGULATION
Regulation (Rif.7 - Picture 1 Page 4.) of the delay
time of the arc primer with screw-driver as regards
the gas that has to arrive to the torch to protect the
welding bath. Regulation time from 0,1 to 1 second.
9 - GAS OUTLET FITTING
Connect the gas pipe leading (Rif.9 - Picture 1 Page
4.) to the electrode torch to this fitting and fully tight-
en.
10 - SOCKET TORCH PUSHBUTTON (Rif.10 - Pic-
ture 1 Page 4.) .
