CHECKING THE USB INTERFACE
CONNECTION
As soon as the interface is connected to the computer
wait until the peripheral is ready for use.
Interface operation can also be checked in the
following way:
Right button "Computer resources "select "Features"
and then "Hardware", press "Device Manager", and
expand "COM and LPT ports".
If the list contains the description "CP210x USB to
UART Bridge Controller (COMX)" – where X stands
for the first free COM port, then the device is correctly
operating. Should that not be the case, check the con-
nection between the interface and the computer and,
if necessary, press "Check hardware changes ".
SOFTWARE REGISTRATION AND ACTIVATION
To enable all functions the user must register the
product and insert the activation key.
ATTENTION! AFTER INSTALLATION THE MK SYSTEM FILE ".FLX" HAS TO BE COPIED
IN THE COMPUTER. THIS FILE IS ON THE CD SUPPLIED WITH THE MK
SYSTEM KEYS AND CYLINDERS.
1. Open the MK system file.
2. In the "File" menu press "Registration".
3. Insert data in the corresponding
customer fields. Then press "Next>>".
