CSF Mechatronic System -
CSF is a flexible and user-friendly system of keys and cylinders for access control.
It is composed of:
F9000 CYLINDER
(MECHATRONIC CYLINDER)
CSF allows the integration of both
mechanical and mechatronic cylin-
ders – with the respective mecha-
nical and electronic keys - in the
same MK system.
The F9000 cylinder is completely
passive; it does not contain any
batteries and does not need to
be connected to a power supply.
The operating energy is supplied
by the key when it is introduced
in the cylinder. The mechatronic
cylinder opens when the mechani-
cal code (represented by the pins)
USER'S KEY (UT)
The BLUE key opens the F 9000
mechatronic cylinder as well as
the mechanical cylinders of the
system. It is provided with a me-
chanical coding but it can also be
programmed with an electronic
code to ENABLE the openings. Eve-
ry time a UT key is inserted in a me-
chatronic cylinder the key records
the date, the time and the cylin-
der in which it has been inserted.
PROGRAMMING KEY (PR)
The RED key CANNOT OPEN the
cylinder. In fact, it does not have a
mechanical coding and it is used to
transfer the data from the PC to the
mechatronic cylinders. Every time
a PR key is inserted in a cylinder,
it records the date, the time and
the cylinder in which it has been
inserted.
INTERFACE
The interface is used to communi-
cate with the UT and PR keys, there-
fore with the MK system cylinders.
This peripheral is connected to a
computer through a USB cable. The
MK system control software (FLEX)
shall be installed in this computer.

GENERAL FEATURES

and electronic code correspond
to the inserted key. Every time the
electronic key is inserted, both ENA-
BLED and DISABLED for opening,
the cylinder records the date, the
time and the key name. The cylinder
must be protected by an escutche-
on recognized in class B or C accor-
ding to VDS. These escutcheons
meet the requirements of standard
DIN 18 257 class ES2 and ES3
respectively.
The key hosts the batteries which
provide the power supply both to
the key itself and to the cylinder.
The UT key has a built-in clock indi-
cating the event recording time; it is
also used to program the time slots.
The local time in the key must be
adjusted by the user through a PC.
