2. Like a delicate warm treatment.
• Take the pads from the packaging, heat them
in the microwave, placing them in a bowl of
water at max 300 watts for 5 minutes.
• Remove the pads from the water and dry
them with a cloth or kitchen paper towels.
• Use the pads when they are slightly warmer
than your body.
• Insert the pads in the cotton covers.
BEFORE APPLYING THEM ON THE
BREASTS, TEST THE PRODUCT ON THE
BACK OF YOUR HAND TO MAKE SURE
THE TEMPERATURE IS CORRECT.
It is recommended to position the larger part
of the pad on the most painful part of the
breast, and to keep them applied for 10-15
minutes for a delicate heat effect.
When used with a cover moistened with
lukewarm water, it provides greater relief
and helps to stimulate the production or let-
down of milk.
COOLING/HEATING TEMPERATURES:
HOT:
• In the microwave: at max 300 watts for 5 min-
utes in a bowl with water.
COLD:
• In the refrigerator: +4 °C (there is no max time).
NB: the Thermogel pads are a very effective
method both hot or cold. After using the hot
pad, it is a good idea to wait a few minutes
before breastfeeding your baby, because the
skin of your breast could be too hot for him.
By carefully following the instructions provid-
ed above, you can carry out the hot or cold
treatment also multiple times during the day
as needed. It is recommended to not keep the
pads constantly on your breast to avoid com-
pression of the ducts.
WARNING
• It is important to follow the instructions for
the breastfeeding hygiene and safety.
• Conserve the casing and the user instruc-
tions for future reference.
• Do not use the pads without their cover.
• Always store the pads and the covers in
their packaging or in a clean and dry loca-
tion, at room temperature (max 40 °C), away
from heat sources and sunlight.
• After each use, the pads must be washed
with warm water and normal soap, dried
carefully with a cloth or kitchen paper tow-
els and put away in a clean and dry location.
• Wash the cover after every use. Please refer
to the care label for instructions on cleaning
the cover.
• Do not exceed the indicated power for the
microwave. Do not boil or excessively heat
the pads because an excessive temperature
could burn the skin or damage the product.
• Do not cool the product in the freezer be-
cause a temperature that is too low could
cause problems to the skin or damage the
product.
• Do not place them on hot or sharp surfaces.
• Do not damage the casing and keep the
gel from coming out. If broken, dispose of
them as normal household waste.
• If the content comes into contact with eyes
or skin, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Do not use on the skin if there are open
wounds.
• If this product is used for a purpose other
than what is intended, or is not used in
compliance with the instructions for use,
only the user will be considered responsible
for any consequences. Therefore, any dam-
age to the product or other consequences
are not covered by the warranty.
• The pads must not be used by people who
are insensitive to heat and/or cold and must
not be used on babies.
• Do not swallow the content. If the gel is
accidentally swallowed, seek immediate
medical attention.
• Do not use the product after the expiration
date printed on the casing.
• To avoid any possibility of infection, it is
recommended not to share the pads with
other mothers.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• The pads must not be considered a toy.
• Report any serious accident to the manu-
facturer and to the competent authorities
for the given country.
