Mounting of the differential pressure switch the differential pressure switchs (Lock-isolating switch
version)
A differential pressure switch (available as an option)
can be fitted to monitor for clogging of the filter.
Mounting of the differential pressure switchs:
Secure the differential pressure switch with self-drilling
screws. The punch marks on the side of the unit
indicate where the differential pressure switch should
be fitted.
Mounting of the pressure taps:
Punch marks indicate the positions for insertion of the
pressure taps.
Drill 1 hole of Ø 8 mm and 2 holes of Ø 2.5 mm (see
diagram opposite).
Insert the pressure tap and secure it to the unit using
the screws supplied in the bag.
Connecting the tubes:
Filter clogging differential pressure switch :
Connect the pressure tap upstream from the filter (A,
fig.1) to the tube connector of the differential pressure
switch marked with a " + " and connect the pressure
tap located downstream from the filter (B) on the tube
connector marked " - ".
Setting of the differential pressure switches (version with integrated electronic controller)
The integrated electronic controller version includes a differential pressure switch for monitoring filter
clogging and a differential pressure switch for the airflow control.
The factory pre-set is suitable for most installations.
The setting for the "airflow control" differential pressure switch is a minimum threshold and should not be
set any lower. It can be increased, depending on the system, to ensure better airflow detection.
The setting for the "filter clogging" differential pressure switch is defined for a nominal filter clogging
detection threshold; factory pre-set is for a G4 type filter.
Note: a lower clogging threshold will cause more frequent filter changes.
