User manual, Bellman Visit Flash receiver
Bellman Visit Flash Receiver is part of the Visit system and alerts with various light signals
when someone is calling on the phone or rings the doorbell, or when the Baby-cry transmit-
ter or Smoke alarm is activated. You can also connect the Bellman Visit Bed-shaker (ac-
cessory) and get alerted through vibrations. Read the manual carefully before using your
Bellman Visit Flash Receiver for the fi rst time. Also keep in mind not to place the unit near
any hot surfaces (e.g. a hotplate or oven).
This is what to do!
A. Connect the mains adapter to outlet (6) on the Flash and let it remain connected for at least 24 hours fi rst time
of usage.
B. Place the unit where you want it. By turning the lens you can chose the direction of the fl ash. There is also a
wallmount bracket available as an accessory (BE9075).
C. Check the fl ash effect and radio range by pressing the test button on the transmitters in your system.
Miscellaneous
Flash (2)
The purpose of the fl ash in the Bellman Visit Flash Receiver is to visually call on your attention. There is a built-
in light sensor that regulates the number of fl ashes emitted; 12 fl ashes during the day and 8 at night. When the
phone rings, the unit will only fl ash more 5 times after the last ring signal, day or night.
Signal Indicators (3)
Behind the lens are 4 coloured LEDs (3) that, upon delivery, indicates the following signals:
(orange) Baby-cry
(green) Door
(yellow) Telephone
(red) Fire
Range
The range between Bellman Visit Flash and the transmitters is more than 30 meters, but is affected by the thick-
ness and material of the walls. Thick walls made of concrete will decrease the range.
Radio channel
Upon delivery, all units are set on the same radio channel. If you need to change, or have changed already, the
radio channel in your transmitters (see each transmitters own manual) you will need to change the channel of
your Flash as well. For safety reasons, Bellman Visit Smoke alarm transmits on all radio channels.
- How you set the radio channel:
Place the unit near one of your transmitters. Press the test button (5) on the Flash Receiver and keep it pressed for
approximately 10 seconds until the yellow and green LED (3) starts fl ashing. Release the test button on the Flash
Receiver and press the test button on the transmitter instead. All LEDs (3) on the Flash Receiver will then start to
fl ash in sequence. This confi rms that the radio channel in the Flash Receiver has been changed.
Please note!
The fl ash may be uncomfortable to you at such a short distance. You have the option of turning the upper part of
the receiver around to direct the fl ash.

Power supply

Bellman Visit Flash Receiver is powered by a mains adapter. Connect it to the inlet (6) on the back of the unit.
During normal usage, the mains indicator (4) will shine with a constant green light. When there is an AC power
failure or when the Flash Receiver is not connected to the mains adapter, the mains indicator will fl ash with a
green light. If it fl ashes with a red light, the battery needs to be charged - see section 'Battery'.
Please note! Only mains adapter Bellman model G090050D31 is to be used.
