Before use

1. Put the lid on the appliance.
2. Unroll the cord and insert the power plug into a 230 volt socket.
Press the On/Off switch to position "I" - The red indicator light
shows that the appliance is on and heating up.
3. One of the curlers has a heating indicator. This indicator is
red when the curler is cold. The curlers are heated and ready
for use as soon as the heating indicator turns into a dark color
(after approx. 10 min).
4. Put the curlers according to their size on the heating rods.
Curl test:
Each type of hair is different. Therefore, we recommend you doing
a curl test. You will see how long to keep the hair curlers in your
hair. To have slightly wavy hair, leave the curlers in your hair for a
shorter period and leave them in longer for curls. Moisten a strand
of hair slightly and wrap it in a curler. You can also wind another
curler in your hair. As a general rule: About 5 minutes will make
your hair wavy and about ten minutes will give you curls. Please
note that the curlers cool off after about 20 minutes. You will
quickly find out for yourself how long is optimal and what results
you can achieve.
Tip: The longer you leave your hair in curlers, the curlier your hair
style will be.
Warning! The appliance becomes very hot. Always place it on
a hard, heat-resistant surface. Never place it on a soft surface
(e.g. carpet or towel).
Danger! Never operate the appliance unattended.
Caution! Do not use the set in the bathroom or near a sink or
other vessels filled with liquids.
1. Wash your hair the way you usually do. Afterwards, dry your
hair well and use a hair dryer to make it nearly completely dry.
You can also allow your hair to get almost dry in the open air.
Wet or moist hair will not produce good results!
2. Allow the curlers to warm up for approx. 10 minutes. The curlers
are ready for use as soon as the heating indicator has become
dark (a red dot in a curler).
3. Comb your hair well. Make sure that the hot surface of the
curlers does not come into contact with sensitive skin parts
(face or neck).
Take a 5 cm broad strand of hair and wind it in the curler, starting
from the tip of your hair. Wind the curler up as tightly as possible
so that it is lying on your scalp. Use the correct clip size to fix the
curler.
Tip: If the skin of your scalp is very sensitive, you may find the
heat of the hair curlers uncomfortable after a short period of
time. The next time you use the appliance, allow it to warm up
with the lid open. This will keep the curlers from getting too
hot. Follow the same steps for the other curlers. Use the appro-
priate curlers sizes. Use the larger curlers for a more pronounced
wave or large curls. If you do not need any more curlers, switch
the appliance off and unplug it.
4. Remove the curlers as soon as your hair has the type of curls,
waves or any other style you desire. This may take from 5 to 10
minutes. The curlers cool off after about 20 minutes.
5. Allow your hair to cool off for 5 to 10 minutes and then use a
coarse-toothed comb or brush to comb out your hair.
