having to remove the lid (not „MINI").
Removing the lid too often during cooking reduces the
source of heat and the contents could become too dry.
When roasting meat remember that different cuts require
a different amount of liquid though always use less than
you would in a normal oven. Adding too much liquid
results in stewed rather than roasted meat. Even with the
lid closed unwanted steam is allowed to escape through
two vents in the lid leaving but the roasting juices in the
pan.
Your roasts will remain tender, full of flavour and will not
dry out as often occurs when oven roasting.
When stirring or portioning food do not use metal
utensils. You risk scratching the Teflon coated surface of
the pan.
Use either plastic or wooden spoons.
Washing and Cleaning the Remoska
ATTENTION!!!
Never immerse the lid in water or place in
a dishwasher!
Once switched off and completely cold the
Remoska may be cleaned thus
- the lid – clean the bottom of the lid with a damp
soapy soft dish cloth or sponge.
- the pan – wipe out with a damp cloth, soak in warm
water if necessary, may be placed in the dishwasher.
Do not use a panscrub.
- the upper part of the lid – you may find a slight
yellowing of the stainless steel will occur after long
usage. Use a stainless steel cleaner only.
Other cleaning powders will scratch the surface.
The glass window may be cleaned with a damp soapy
cloth.
In case of any electrical fault or any damaged
electrical parts always send for repair to an
accredited electrical repair workshop. After
repair the lid must be tested before use.
To avoid any electric shock or injury please do
not try to repair damaged cable yourself.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid
a hazard.
The plug is the primary disconnect and should
be readily at all times.
