Working with the multitool

Switching ON/OFF
Push the ON/OFF switch (2) forwards (position I)
to switch on the machine.
Push the ON/OFF switch (2) backwards (position
O) to switch o the machine.
Function principle
The tool oscillates up to 22,000 times per minute
around the drive axis due to the oscillating drive.
This helps the tool to penetrate the material
without requiring any great force and allows it to
cut cleanly evening constricted areas.
Sawing
Before starting work check that the tool is free of
foreign bodies such as nails, screws, stones, etc.
Remove them before starting work.
Only use undamaged tools.
Blunt, bent or broken tools may cause serious
inquiries.
Only make submersed cuts into soft materials
such as wood, plasterboard and the like. Not for
nails, screws, non-ferrous metals and tiles.
Observe the statutory regulations and the instruc-
tions supplied by the manufacturer for sawing
lightweight building materials.
Cutting
Only cut soft tiles and stone materials. Do not cut
hard materials such as ceramics and granite. Not
for nails, screws, non-ferrous metals and tiles.
Grinding/Sanding
Only use perfect grinding/sanding sheets.
Ensure that you apply even pressure and rotate
the machine around the working area.
The quality of the nish and the amount of mate-
rial you remove essentially depend on the particle
size of the grinding/sanding sheet and the oscilla-
ting intensity.
Excessive working pressure will result in heavy
wear on the machine and grinding/sanding
sheets and not to better results.
Grinding/Sanding sheets which have been used
on metal must not be used on wood afterwards.
