WARNING:
all of the recommended remedies below except remedies that require unit to be operating.
TROUBLE
Motor fails to start when
trigger switch is depressed.
String trimmer smokes during
operation.
Cutting line does not
advance.

TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE

Always stop unit and disconnect from the power source before performing
CAUSE
1. Battery is not secure.
2. Battery is not charged.
String trimmer damaged.
1. Line may be tangled on
spool.
2. Line has run out.
REMEDY
1. To secure the battery pack,
make sure the latches on the
top of the battery pack snap into
place.
2. Charge the battery pack
according to the instructions
included with your model.
Do not use string trimmer.
Call for technical service

1. Remove battery. Remove spool
cover and spool. Unwind spool
and rewind, ensuring that line is
not tangled.
2. Replace spool or spool line.
