Ignition and start up:
If
the gas does not ignite within 30 seconds, the gas valve of the refrigerator will automatically close and the POWER
NOTICE
ON indicator [185] will come on solid red. To reset the controls, press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button [30] for 1
second to turn the refrigerator off and then press it again to restart the refrigerator (See Art02392).
NORCOLD
If the gas does not ignite after several attempts, refer to the "Fault Codes" section of this manual.
Operating the refrifgerator controls:
1. Push and release the POWER ON/OFF button [30]. The power ON indicator will comes on dolid green, the mode indicator(s) will
come on, and the temperature indicator(s) will come on.
2. Select the mode of operation.
- Push and hold the MODE button [31] to scroll through the available operation modes of the refrigerator, one after the other (See
Art02393).
NORCOLD
- When the desired mode indicator(s) comes on, release the MODE button.
- Or push and release the MODE button again and again to change the available operation modes of the refrigerator, one at a time.
- As you change the mode, the applicable mode indicator(s) [276], [277], and [278] will come on.
- Select one of three (3) modes of operation:
AUTO mode
MANUAL AC mode
MANUAL GAS mode

MODE
The refrigerator's electronic controls automatically select the the most efficient energy source that is
available. The Auto mode indicator [276] comes on and either the AC mode indicator [278] or the gas
indicator [278] comes on also.
The refrigerator cools using only AC electric power as the power source. The AC mode indicator
[277] comes on only.
The refrigerator cools using only propane gas as the power source. The gas mode indicator [277]
comes on only.
