CLEANING FUNCTION

The AIROSWISS U700 is equipped with a descaling func-
tion. All you need is a bag of "AIROSWISS EZcal". One of
these bags is included with the appliance. You can obtain
more EZcal bags from your AIROSWISS specialist dealer
or our online store at www.airoswiss.net.
The AIROSWISS U700 uses this symbol to indicate that
descaling is needed:

PROCEDURE

During descaling, the humidifier runs for 5 seconds and
then pauses for 10 minutes. This process repeats until the
cleaning time has elapsed. The cleaning time can be set
between 1 and 9 hours. As a rule: The longer the cleaning
process, the better the results.

DESCALING THE APPLIANCE

1. Empty the water base and the water tank.
2. Remove the Hydro Cell.
3. Mix 1 bag of EZcal with 1 liter (a quarter gallon) of
water and pour the mixture into the water base.
4. Switch off the AIROSWISS U700.
5. Press the symbol for 3 seconds. Descaling starts.
6. Tap the symbol repeatedly to set the desired clean-
ing time. The cleaning time increases by one-hour
increments (max. 9 hours).
The symbol for the cleaning mode flashes on the display.
The AIROSWISS U700 switches off automatically once
the cleaning time has elapsed.
7. Empty the water base and fill the water tank with tap
water.
The cleaning symbol goes out. The AIROSWISS U700 is
ready for use again.

REMOVING LIMESCALE RESIDUE

Stubborn limescale residue on the membrane can be
removed using the yellow brush stored inside the AIRO-
SWISS U700.
Never clean the membrane using sharp objects or
aggressive cleaning agents; doing so can damage
the AIROSWISS U700 and voids the warranty!
