    Caution: Installation of the MCS II system results in a weight increase of approximately 70g, which is added to the weight of the helmet and of the other accessories. Warning: The electronic components of the N-Com mounted inside the helmet are not waterproof.

    Caution: Adjusting the volume to very high levels may cause damage to your hearing Caution: Adjust the volume of the N-Com system (where provided) and of the audio sources connected to it so as to avoid audio reproduction at high volumes.     3. INSTALLING THE MCS II SYSTEM Remove the cheek padding (see helmet instructions).  Remove the helmet edge gasket  using the special tool (Fig. 1). Remove the “N-Com” plug found at  the back of the shell gasket (Fig. 1).
  • Page 9 Option 2: remove the left and right side filling material as well as the filling material in the housings of the N-Com earpieces located in the EPS cheek pads. Option 1 Option 2 N.B.: Keep the filling material in case you wish to use the helmet without the N-Com system in the future.

    Unhook the right clip from the shell,  levering upward using a flat head screw (or a similar tool), as shown in figure 9. Fig. 9 Completely remove the MCS II system from the helmet and re-install the cheek  padding and the gasket.

    4. OPERATION OF THE MCS II SYSTEM Hook up the cable to the motorcycle, then to the MCS II system. The audio of the system installed on the motorcycle is now transferred to the helmet. You can use the interphone system on the motorcycle by connecting both the pilot’s helmet and the passenger’s to the motorcycle.

    Defects covered by this warranty likewise do not include all the specific and subjective situations which may arise during dynamic use of the N-Com™ equipped helmet, such as problems of comfort due to improper sizing, or wind noise while riding.     Por lo tanto, evitar que el interior del casco se moje, incluyendo el relleno de confort , para evitar daños al sistema. Si cayera agua dentro del casco, extraer el sistema N-Com y la calota de confort del casco y dejar que se seque al aire libre.

    Atención: El uso del volumen demasiado elevado pudiera causar daños al oído. Atención: Regular el volumen del sistema N-Com (donde previsto) y de las fuentes audio conectadas de manera tal que se evite la reproducción audio a alto volume.     3. INSTALACIÓN DEL SISTEMA MCS II Extraer el relleno de confort (ver las instrucciones del casco).  Extraer el perno de la guarnición en  borde del casco utilizando la llave correspondiente (Fig. 1). Extraer la tapita “N-Com” colocadas ...
  • Page 25 Antes de instalar el sistema N-Com, extraer el material de relleno presente en el  casco, si lo hubiera. Opción 1: extraer la luneta inferior de espuma y el material de relleno para los alojamientos de los auricolares N-Com presentes en las almohadillas EPS.

    4. FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL SISTEMA MCS II Conectar el cable de conexión a la moto, y por tanto al sistema MCS II. El audio del sistema instalado en la moto se transmitirá al casco. Es posible utilizar el sistema intercomunicador de la moto conectando el casco del piloto y el del pasajero a la moto.

    Enlevez la vis de la garniture du bord  du casque à l'aide de la clé prévue à cet effet (Fig. 1). Enlevez la plaque « N-Com » présent  sur la garniture du bord de la calotte dans la partie arrière (Fig. 1).
  • Page 41 Avant d’installer le système N-Com, enlever les éléments de remplissage en  matériau expansé éventuellement présents dans le casque. Option 1 : enlever la lunette inférieure en matériau expansé et les éléments de remplissage pour les logements des écouteurs intra-auriculaires N-Com présents dans les joues EPS.

    4. FONCTIONNEMENT DU MCS II Brancher le câble de raccordement d’abord a la moto, puis au système MCS II. Le son du système installé à la motocyclette sera transféré au casque. Il est possible d’utiliser le système interphone de la moto, en branchant à la motocyclette aussi bien le casque du pilote que celui du passager.
