oPerAtion - controls

1. The sequence of operation for pull chain is : OFF-HI-MED-LOW
2. Push the slide switch DOWN for FORWARD and UP for REVERSE action of the blades
3. Even if your fan is mounted with blades more than 2.35m from the floor, be carefully to avoid placing your
raised arms or any object in the path of the blades.

GuArAntee terMs

The importer guarantees the appliance against defects caused by manufacturing and/or material faults for
60 months from the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions.
1. No charges will be made for labour costs or materials during the warranty period. Any repairs carried out
during the warranty period do not extend the warranty period.
2. The importer automatically becomes the owner of any faulty parts that he replaces or a faulty appliance
(in the event of replacement of the appliance).
3. All claims submitted under warranty must be accompanied by the original bill of sale.
4. Claims under warranty must be submitted to the dealer where the appliance was purchased or to the
importer.
5. The warranty is issued solely to the first purchaser and cannot be transferred.
6. The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
a. Accidents, incorrect use, wear and/or neglect.
b. Faulty installation and/or use in a manner contravening the prevailing legal, technical or safety
regulations.
c. Connection to a mains voltage other than the voltage specified on the type plate.
d. Unauthorized modifications.
suggested remedy
1. Check main and branch circuit fuses or circuit
breakers.
2. Check line wire connections to fan and switch wire
connections in switch housing.
cAution: Make sure main power is turned off.
1. Check to make sure all screws in motor housing are
snug (not over-tight)
2. Check to make sure the screws which attach the
fanblade flanges to the motor hub are tight.
3. Check to make sure wire nut connectors in
switchhousing are not rattling against each other or
against the interior wall of the switch housing.
cAution: Make sure main power is turned off before
entering switch housing.
4. If using an optional Ceiling Fan Light Kit. Check to
be sure the screws securing the glassware are finger
tight. Check to be sure light bulb is tight in socket.
5. Some fan motors are sensitive to signals from Solid-
State variable speed controls. If Solid-State Control
is used and motor noise results choose an alternate
control method.
1. Check to be sure screws which attach the fan blade
flanges to the motor hub are tight.
2. Check to be sure the fan blade flanges seat firmlyand
cleanly to the top surface of the motor hub.
3. Interchanging adjacent (side-by-side) blade pairs
can redistribute the weight and result in smoother
operation.
