General safety instructions

Observe the industrial safety regulations when carrying out any work on the equipment. Keep in mind that there
may be additional safety regulations in your company which must be observed.
1. Unless otherwise specified, a strength of 8.8 applies to all screws.
2. Refer to the generally applicable values for all torques.
3. The use of other operating materials than those listed here is not permitted. Please contact
HanseLifter® in case of any questions.
4. Wear appropriate protective clothing when working.
5. Follow the respective safety data sheets in relation to the operating materials. These can be
obtained from the security representative of your company.

Hazard information

Attention
Repairs may only be carried out by trained personnel. In case of doubt, contact HanseLifter®. They can
provide you with information about a competent repair specialist in your area.
Attention
There may be increased dangers when working on certain components, caused by pre-tensioned springs,
residual pressures or remnants of operating materials. Familiarise yourself sufficiently with possible dangers
prior to carrying maintenance or repair work.
Attention
Some operating materials represent a danger to health and the environment. Follow the respective safety
data sheets in relation to the operating materials. These can be obtained from the security representative of
your company.
Attention
Potential danger areas may be exposed when protective covers are removed. When protective covers were
removed, reinstall them after work is complete.
