Compatible heat sources
Stainless steel models can be used on all hob types,

including induction.
On an electric hob, vitroceram or induction, use a
I
hotplate of a diameter equal to or less than the diameter
of the base of the Pressure Cooker.
On a ceramic hob, take care that the bottom of the
I
pan is perfectly clean.
On gas, the flame should not go beyond the base of
I
the pan.
On any hob, ensure you place the Pressure Cooker
I
in the center of the hob.
Not suitable for use on an Aga
I

Never use your Pressure Cooker without
liquid: this could cause serious damage.

2 - Opening
Turn the tightening knob to the left to lower the
I
clamp.

Lift the lid to release it.

Slide it horizontally away from the pan - Fig 1

3 - Closing
Turn the tightening knob to the left to lower the
I
clamp.
Slide the lid horizontally onto the rim of the
I
Pressure Cooker, making sure it sits properly on the
pan - Fig 2
Turn the tightening knob to the right until the clamp
I
is in contact with the clamp hook on the Pressure
Cooker.
To ensure that the lid is locked into position, turn
I
the tightening knob again (at least three full turns).
4 - Filling
Minimum 25 cl (2 small cupfuls) - Fig 3
Maximum - Do not fill the unit over 2/3 full - Fig 4
For steam cooking
Use at least 75 cl of liquid.

Suspend the basket from the rivets on the pan - Fig 5

For certain foods
For foods which expand during cooking, such as
I
rice, dehydrated vegetables, or stewed fruits, ... do not
fill your Pressure Cooker with contents of more than
half the height of the boby. In the case of soups we
recommend you do a fast decompression.
5 - Folding handles*

Before any use, make sure you take off the
labels sticked on each handle.
To fold the handles:
Press the unfolding knobs on the handles. Lower

Never try to unfold the handles without
pressing the unfolding knobs.
The position "folded handles" is used for storage
I

Never put your Pressure Cooker handles
folded on a heat source.
