The symbols in the Instruction Manual and on the machine shall aide in directing your attention to possible hazardous
situations when working with this machine.

these operating instructions, including the figures,
specifications, and safety regulations.
Read and observe the operating instructions of the belt
grinder GI150/GI1502H as well as the sub base
GIB/GIBE, which are to be mounted to this machine.
This Instruction Manual should be kept for later use and
enclosed with the power tool, should it be passed on or
sold.

For assembly of the radius grinding module to the belt
grinder, use only the fastening material provided. Faulty
assembly can cause the radius grinding module to loosen
from the belt grinder during operation and lead to seri-
ous accidents.
Intended use of the machine.
The radius grinding module GIR is to be used together
with the belt grinder GI150/GI1502H exclusively for
grinding off pipe ends with diameters between 20 –150
mm using the application tools and accessories recom-
mended by FEIN in weather-protected environments.
Workpieces with diameters below 35 mm may not
be worked with the belt grinder GI 150!
