05 - HOW TO USE

5.1. Commissioning
To use the heater, proceed as follows:
• Plug the power cord into the power outlet.
• Press the on/off switch.
• Then operate the unit according to the following description.
5.2. Thermostat
You can set the desired heating intensity by means of the thermostat. To do this, turn the thermostat
to the desired setting. The heater will now operate at maximum level until the setting is reached.
The thermostat causes the heater to turn on when the ambient temperature is below the preset
setting. If the temperature rises above this value, the thermostat switches the unit to the ECO saving
function.
5.3. ECO mode
When the heater reaches the operating temperature, the device switches to the ECO function mode,
the ECO function indicator now starts to light up. In this mode, the heater can save 30% of heat.
The power consumption in ECO mode are as follows:
MAXIMO 1000
MAXIMO 1500
MAXIMO 2000
When the ECO function indicator goes off, the device switches back to the normal heating mode.

5.4. Wall mounting

• Use the supplied mounting bracket to mount the heater to the wall.
• Fasten suitable screws as well as dowels according to requirements. The fixed bracket for perma-
nent mounting is located on the back of the unit.
• Subsequently, the mounted screws serve as a support for the device.
