The frost protection thermostat deactivates the fans as
soon as a hot water heating element is at risk of free-
zing. The sensor system switches on at a temperature of
approx. 7 °C. At the same time an optional solenoid valve
is opened.
A frost protection thermostat is always required if the
temperature of the intake air can be lower than 7 °C.
