GTC I/II, water heated
The air curtain is switched ON and OFF by selecting the desired fan speed through the touch
controls and are indicated by lighted LED's.
GTC E, electrically heated
The air curtain is switched ON and OFF by selecting the desired fan speed through the touch
controls and are indicated by lighted LED's. If the air curtain is switched off this will be indicated
by lighted red LED's ('OFF'). The maximum heating capacity depends on the selected fan speed,
see table below:
fan speed
The controller is equipped with an automatic after run function that assures the removal of any
heat remaining due to thermal inertia after switching off the air curtain. If the air curtain reaches
an abnormal high temperature (for example due to dust accumulation on the inlet grill) the fan
speed will be increased and the heating capacity decreased. In this situation the controller will
show flashing LED's. When the temperature is normal all settings will return to their original
selected positions. If the air curtain is installed in a relatively small space then a room thermostat
is recommended.
Commissioning
Before commissioning
Before using the air curtain system, all parts must be checked for correct assembly.
In this respect, the following points deserve extra attention:
•
Has the suspension of the air curtain installation been carried out correctly?
•
Has a leak test been carried out for the supply and return, including all accessories such as
solenoid valve, discharge temperature controller, automatic air vent, installation filter, etc.?
•
Has the electrical connection been carried out in accordance with the provisions of the
NEN 1010 standard?
•
Has the connection been made in accordance with the circuit diagram?
Commissioning
After proper checking, the power supply can be switched on.
The desired fan speeds can then be set on the control panel.
For other functions and operating the controls, see the individual job description.
