After commissioning
After commissioning the air curtain system, the following points must be checked:
•
Are all functions of the control available?
•
Can all fans run freely, or are there no noises?
•
Is the outlet grille in the correct position?
For the exact function of the ordered controls, consult the corresponding function description.
If there are audible sounds, the cause must be removed. In many cases, starting up the fans is
caused by the air curtain being mounted too tightly.
For optimum operation of the air curtain, it is important that the exhaust flaps are slightly
outward. The grilles can be adjusted from the middle position both outwards and inwards at an
angle of 10° or 15°. It is advisable to set the grilles at 10° outwards when the air curtain is less
than 30 cm from the door and at 15° if the air curtain is more than 30 cm from the door. If the
air curtain is also used in combination with air conditioning, the outlet flaps can be turned in
during the summer.
When using in the winter (heating season), the grille must be adjusted so that the airflow is
blown out. The air then rises at the level of the threshold and thus stops the incoming cold air.
The fan speed must be selected so that the air flow at the level of the threshold rises approxima-
tely with the room temperature.
When using in the summer (air conditioning), the air flow must be directed inwards so that
the cooled air in the room can not escape outside. The fan speed must be selected so that the
airflow reaches the ground.
