Battery and Fuse Replacement

Warning
TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK, REMOVE TEST LEADS
BEFORE OPENING CASE AND BATTERY DOOR.
Battery Voltage is enough if the indication is clear and
symbol has dissapeared from the LCD display. If
the symbol indicate or no indication on the display
and other incorrect case (example: the weak backlight
brightness etc.), you should replace with new battery
specified as below.
1.5 Volt battery replacement
a. Ensure the instrument is not connected to any external
circuit. Set the selector switch to "OFF" position and
remove the test leads from the terminals.
b. Remove the screw on the battery door and lift the
battery door (the battery door located at top of bottom
case). Remove the old battery and replace it with a
new battery of the same type.
c. Do not dispose the batteries with household waste.
Refer to your local area for the proper disposal of used
batteries.
Fuse replacement
a. Ensure the instrument is not connected to any external
circuit. Set the selector switch to "OFF" position and
remove the test leads from the terminals.
b. Remove the screw on the battery door and lift the
battery door (the battery door located at top of bottom
case). Then loose 3 pieces screw on the bach case
and lift the bottom case. Replace only with the same
type and rating of fuse: 0.5A/250V (Cargo 190285)
10A/250V Cargo 192861.
