Possible Causes
• New installation.
• Freezer door is not closed
completely.
• Refrigerator is not connected
to a water supply and the
supply shutoff valve is not
turned on.
• The water pressure is not
more than 20 psi.
• Home filter or reverse osmosis
system is used.
• The display is not set properly
for water to come out.
• Water filter need to be
changed.
• Glass was not being held
under the dispenser long
enough.
• New installation.
• Recently water filter was
changed.
• The refrigerator is located
near a fire source, such as a
fireplace, chimney or candle.
Please thoroughly read the Automatic Icemaker and Operating the Dispenser sections in
this manual.
Solutions
• Flush and fill the water system.
• If any door is not closed completely, the ice is never
dispensed.
• Connect refrigerator to water supply and turn water
shutoff valve fully open.
• The water pressure to the home determines the flow
from the dispenser.
• This can decrease water pressure. It is
recommended to remove reverse osmosis for
normal operation of water dispenser.
• Look on the right side of the display to see if the
display lock is engaged. If locked, it will not
dispense. Unlock the dispenser.
• The filter should be changed every 6 months or
more often depending on usage. The filter can get
buildup of foreign particles and slow the water
pressure.
• Hold the glass under the dispenser 2 to 3 seconds
after releasing the dispenser lever.
• Flush and fill the water system.
• Flush the water system.
• Make sure that the refrigerator is not located near
a fire source, such as a fireplace, chimney or
candle.
