SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND PRECAUTIONS

• No helmet can protect the wearer against all possible impacts.
• The helmet is designed to be retained by a strap under the lower jaw.
• To be effective, a helmet must fit and be worn correctly. To check for correct fit, place helmet on head and make
any adjustments indicated. Securely fasten retention system. Grasp the helmet and try to rotate it to the front and
rear. A correctly fitted helmet should be comfortable and should not move forward to obscure vision or rearward
to expose the forehead.
• No attachments should be made to the helmet except those recommended by the helmet manufacturer.
• The helmet is designed to absorb shock by partial destruction of the shell and liner. This damage may not be visible.
Therefore, if subjected to a severe blow, the helmet should be destroyed and replaced even if it appears
undamaged.
• The helmet may be damaged and rendered ineffective by petroleum and petroleum products, cleaning agents,
paints, adhesives and the like, without the damage being visible to the user.
• A helmet has a limited lifespan in use and should be replaced when it shows obvious signs of wear.
• This helmet should not be used by children while climbing or doing other activities where there is a risk of hanging
or strangulation if the child gets trapped whilst wearing the helmet.
• Depending on the type of impact, even a low-speed accident can result in a serious head injury or fatality. This
helmet is designed to protect the head and cannot guard against neck or other bodily injures that may result from
an accident. All accidents are different, and it is not possible to state if a given helmet will provide protection in
certain accidents.
• Exercise care and good judgment whenever you ride. Comply with all local traffic regulations and do your part to
avoid accidents of any kind. Do not adjust the helmet or helmet components while riding as this can cause an
accident.
• This helmet is intended only for pedal cyclists, skateboarders and roller-skaters.
• Do not remove and modify any of original component parts of the helmet other than as recommended by the
manufacturer. Furthermore, the helmet should not be adapted for the purposes of fitting accessories in a way not
recommended by the manufacturer.
• 4Kraft recommends you choose a helmet which has the greatest coverage area on your head and which you are
comfortable wearing.
• This helmet may not be suitable for extreme riding such as jumping and high-speed events.
It must also be remembered that helmet can only protect if it fits well. During buying a helmet try on different sizes
and then
choose the size which feels secure and comfortable on the head.
• The product meets the requirements of EN 1078: 2012 + A12012.
• The stickers should be applied by an adult.

Adjustment

First, position the helmet on your head so that the lowest front edge is about ¾ inches above your eyebrow. Your
helmet should not be tilted back on your head (Figure A). When the helmet is properly positioned on your head, both
the front and the rear straps should be evenly tensioned, with the strap guides positioned just below the ears (Figure
B). If the straps are uneven, they can be adjusted by pulling them through the rear of the helmet. To adjust the length
of the straps, use the strap guides to make the adjustments up or down so that the strap guide is positioned just
below the ear. The straps should not cover your ears. Next close the chin buckle and tighten the combined straps
until they are comfortable underneath your chin, and as far back towards the throat as is comfortable. Position the
buckle so that it is centered side to side. To see if your straps are correctly adjusted, try to pull the helmet off from
both the front and the back.
The helmet is also equipped with a fit system. This system allows a more comfortable and secure fit of the helmet on
your head while riding. The fit system does not affect the stability of the helmet in case of accident. The system is
