Formatting the memory card in the trail camera before using it for the first time is strongly
recommended, especially when the card has been used in other devices. A memory card formatted in
another device may not be compatible.
When the camera is in SET mode and no memory card is inserted, the LDC screen displays "No memory
card".
When the memory card is full, the LCD screen indicates "Memory full".
5. Operation
5.1.

Turn ON the camera

You can switch on the camera any time after the batteries and memory card have been inserted.
Put the switch in the ON position; the camera is ready to work.
The red start-up indicator light located on the front cover will blink and the LCD display will count down
15 seconds. This interval allows you time to close the camera front cover and leave the monitored area.
Once in the ON mode, the camera will take photos and/or videos according to its current parameter
settings.
NOTE: the camera comes pre-programmed with factory default settings. So, for test purpose, you only need
to insert the memory card and AA batteries then power on the camera (switch in the ON position).
5.2. Turn OFF the camera
Slide the switch to the OFF position to turn off the camera. Please note that even in OFF mode, the camera
still consumes power at a very low level. Therefore, please remove the batteries if the camera will not be
used for a long time period.
The OFF mode is the "safe mode" for actions such as: replacing the memory card or batteries, or
transporting the camera.
5.3. Photo/video playback on the LCD screen
− Slide the switch to the SET position.
− Press OK to enter the playback function, then press , ,  or  to browse the recorded
photo/video files.
− Press OK to see the selected photo/video.
− Photos: you can press  or  to zoom in (up to 16X) or zoom out.
‒ Videos: Press  to start reading a video. Press  again to pause. Press MENU to stop the video.
− Press OK then MENU to exit.
5.4. Watch the photos in slideshow mode
This function can be used to view the pictures stored on the memory card automatically as a slide show.
Each photo is displayed for about 2 seconds.
− Slide the switch to the SET position.
− Press OK to enter the playback function, then press , ,  or  to browse the recorded photo files.
− Press OK to see the selected photo.
− Press the MENU button, select "Slide show" then press the OK button to start the slide show.
− To stop the slide show, press the OK button again.
