• TIMER ACTIVE

This indicates that the timer has started and the

time will be counted down until the shutter will

be released. To start the timer press the TIMER

START/STOP button (5).

• SET

If the word SET is flashing on the display, the

settings can be modified. Press the SET button

(3) and change the value with the direction

buttons (4) to your desired setting.

• RELEASE (TIMER ACTIVE is not flashing)

The word RELEASE will be shown on the display

if the camera's shutter is released. Therefore push

the shutter release button (2) once or push it and

slide it up into the HOLD status. The photo will be

taken as long as the shutter release button will be

pushed / held.

Lock / LCD backlight button

Press the lock / LCD backlight button (1) and the

backlight will temporarily be activated. The backlight

will last for about 10 seconds.

To lock the transmitter press the lock / LCD backlight

button (1) until the lock icon (L) appears on the dis-

play. Now no other button except the shutter release

button as well as the lock / LCD backlight button can

be used. To unlock the transmitter press the lock / LCD

backlight button until the lock icon disappears.

Connection with the camera

1. Turn off the camera.

2. Please make sure that TIMER ACTIVE (21) and

RELEASE (24) is not displayed in the control panel.

3. Remove the hot shoe cover on the camera if

applicable and attach the receiver to the camera's

hot shoe. Insert the appropriate plug from the

connection cable into the correct socket for the

remote release on the camera. Then insert the 2.5

mm plug into the receiver connector (15).
