3. Battery installation

Open the battery compartment of the transmitter and
the receiver by sliding the cover away like shown in
the pictures below. Insert two AAA 1.5V LR03 alkaline
batteries into the transmitter. Please use a CR2 3V
alkaline battery for the receiver.

3.1 Low battery indication

If the battery power of the transmitter is low, the sign
for low battery will be shown on the display. Please
replace the battery then.

3.2 Replacement of batteries

If the batteries of the transmitter need to be replaced,
please follow the steps below.
• Please make sure that TIMER ACTIVE and RELEASE
is not displayed in the transmitter control panel.
• Turn off the camera power as well as the receiver.
• Take out the battery and insert new batteries
instead.

• Now the remote control can be used again and the
camera as well as the receiver can be turned on
again.
If the batteries of the receiver need to be
replaced, please follow the steps below:
• Turn the receiver off and disconnect it from the
camera.
• Take out the battery and insert new batteries again.
• The receiver can now be used again.
If the remote control
will not be used for a longer time
• The transmitter switches off automatically after a
short period of time (appr. 10 sec). When the timer
remote control is not longer used and If the remote
control is not used any longer in order to reduce
the power consumption of the battery, please
ensure that TIMER ACTIVE, SET and RELEASE are
not displayed in the control panel. if this indication
lights are flashing, the battery power consumption
is increased.
• Push the receiver power switch to the position
„OFF" to turn off the power supply of the receiver.
