    4.2.1 HORIZONTAL AIR TERMINAL INSTALLATION Stretch the inner fl ex pipe to the required length taking into account the additional length needed for the fi nished wall surface. Apply a heavy bead of the high temperature CAULKING sealant W573-0007 Mill Pac (not supplied) to the inner sleeve of the air terminal.

    4.2.2 VERTICAL AIR TERMINAL INSTALLATION WARNING MAINTAIN A MINIMUM 2” SPACE BETWEEN THE AIR INLET BASE AND THE STORM COLLAR. Fasten the roof support to the roof using the screws provided. The roof support is optional. In this case the venting is to be adequately supported using either an alternate method suitable to the authority having jurisdiction or the optional roof support.

    4.2.3 APPLIANCE VENT CONNECTION Install the inner fl ex pipe to the fi replace. Secure with 3 screws and fl at washers. Seal the joint and screw holes using the high temperature sealant W573-0007 (not supplied). Install the outer fl ex pipe to the fi replace. Attach and seal the joints using the high temperature sealant W573-0002 (not supplied).

    USING RIGID VENT COMPONENTS The vent system must be supported approximately every 3 feet for both vertical and horizontal runs. Use Wolf Steel Ltd. support ring assembly or equivalent noncombustible strapping to maintain the minimum clearance to combustibles for both vertical and horizontal runs.     12.0 TROUBLESHOOTING WARNING ALWAYS LIGHT THE PILOT WHETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME OR IF THE GAS SUPPLY HAS RAN OUT, WITH THE GLASS DOOR OPEN OR REMOVED. TURN OFF THE GAS AND ELECTRICAL POWER BEFORE SERVICING THE APPLIANCE. APPLIANCE MAY BE HOT, DO NOT SERVICE UNTIL APPLIANCE HAS COOLED. DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS.
