USE AND CARE INFORMATION
This rangehood system is designed to remove smoke, cooking
vapors and odors from the cooktop area.
Rangehood Control Panel
The control panel is located under the front side of the hood.
The position and function of each control button is indicated in
FIGURE 5.

LED indicator light (I) - indicates current speed with color
Green - speed 1
Orange - speed 2
Red - speed 3
Flashing Red - intensive speed
Light On/Off Button ( L )
On/Off switch for the halogen lights.
the light ON and press again to turn it OFF.
Blower On/Off Button ( T1 )
On/Off button for the blower. Press the button to turn the blower
ON to speed one (indicated by green LED) and press again to
turn the hood off
Blower Speed 2 (T2)
Press this button to turn the hood onto speed #2. (indicated by
orange LED)
Blower Speed 3 / Intensive (T3)
Press this button to turn the hood onto speed #3. (indicated by
solid red LED) Hold down the speed 3 button for 2 seconds to
activate the intensive speed. The intensive speed setting is
indicated by a blinking red light. This operates the hood for 10
minutes on the highest speed and then returns to the previous
speed.
For Best Results
Start the rangehood several minutes before cooking to develop
proper airflow. Allow the unit to operate for several minutes
after cooking is complete to clear all smoke and odors from the
kitchen.

Cleaning
The metal grease filters should be cleaned frequently in
hot detergent solution or washed in the dishwasher. The
grease filters are removed by pulling the handle of the filter
as indicated in FIGURE 6. When replacing, make sure
that the filters are properly positioned with the handles in
front and visible.
Clean exterior surfaces with a commercially available
stainless steel cleaner. Abrasives and scouring agents
can scratch stainless steel finishes and should not be
used to clean finished surfaces.

light switch is turned off, and that the other lamps have had
sufficient time to cool. Halogen bulbs burn extremely hot and
serious injury could result from touching a hot bulb.
Remove the bottom of the hood with the two side tabs.
Remove the bulbs by pulling the bulb from the socket.
Replace with a 20 watt MR-11 halogen bulb with a lens
cover.
