The load cell cables have been inseparably connected to the load cells at the factory
and their individual resistances and temperature coefficients adjusted together with
the load cell. Therefore, you must never shorten the cable, but simply roll up and
secure any excess in length.
The special sheathing material and the integrated strain relief through a Kevlar thread
ensure an extremely long service life even under difficult operating conditions.
However, despite the robust nature of the materials used, the cable should be
protected from excessive chemical and mechanical stresses. Preventing water from
penetrating the end of the cable is also important "life insurance" for the system.
