1. INTRODUCTION

Dear customer, we kindly invite you to read this manual carefully prior to using the product. This will help you to make the most of its capabilities and
protect yourself and others against potential harm.

2. COPYRIGHT

The contents of this manual may be modified by the manufacturer without prior notice or further obligations, for the purpose of including variations
and improvements. It is forbidden to reproduce or to translate any part of this manual without the manufacturer written authorisation. The manufac-
turer reserves the right to modify, to cancel or to change in another way the data contained herein at any time and for any reason without prior no-
tice, since the manufacturer is constantly seeking to find new solutions for improving its products. We therefore reserve the right and duty to modify
the products supplied with regard to their shape, equipment and technology.

3. PRESENTATION AND WARRANTY

Thank you for purchasing our product, which is manufactured in conformity to the most stringent regulations and technical specifications aimed of
guaranteeing its practical and safe use.
DAYLIGHT is a technologically advanced product capable of meeting functional, aesthetic and even energy saving requirements.
The appliance is designed and manufactured entirely in Italy using sturdy, top-grade materials.
DAYLIGHT is designed to fully meet the needs of your marine aquarium.
The manufacturer guarantees its products for 24 months, in conformity to the current legislation.
Any interventions covered by warranty shall be carried out exclusively at the manufacturer's premises.
Transport and redelivery of the equipment shall be borne by the customer.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for the product's defective operation and, therefore, the warranty shall not cover:
. assembly, modifications and repairs not carried out by a technician of the GNC technical assistance service or by authorised GNC personnel;
. improper use of the product in relation to its intended use, regulations and operating instructions.
The purchase document (invoice or tax receipt) must be stored and the product must be registered on our site,

4. SAFETY PRECAUTION

Carefully read the precautions contained in this manual, as they provide useful information concerning safe installation, use and maintenance of the
product.
4.1 Classification and intended use
It is a Class II LED lighting system with IP protection rating greater than X2, secured permanently and suitable for normal use. The appliance is de-
signed to be installed suspended, never supported, on the tank through two stainless steel cables anchored to the ceiling.
4.2 Environmental conditions
During the appliance's operation, the room temperature must be between 10°C and 40°C, and the atmospheric pressure must be between 700
hPa and 1060 hPa.
4.3 Technical safety conditions
Safe use and workmanlike operation of the appliance is ensured if:
. the anchoring of the lamp to the ceiling is safe from the static point of view;
. the electrical circuit of the relevant rooms have been installed in a workmanlike manner and conform to the regulations in force in the country of
use;
. modifications to the appliance or maintenance work are carried out by personnel authorised by GNC;
. the appliance has been mounted and started up correctly in accordance with the instructions provided. Do not stare directly at LEDs when they are
switched on and avoid placing reflective objects near them so as to prevent the risk of glare and damages due to artificial optical radiation.
Do not touch with bare hands the metal part of the device as it is a hot surface. Do not rest on or place any objects on the appliance's body, and
do not hang any objects on its body, as this may alter the appliance's positioning making it unsafe. The appliance must not be covered during its
operation, as this may hamper the exchange of heat with the environment, causing parts of the appliance to overheat. The appliance must be
correctly positioned so that not jeopardize its stability.

4.4 Environmental notes

Pursuant to Art.13 of Italian Legislative Decree n. 151 of 25 July 2005 "Implementation of Directives 2002/95 / EC, 2002/96 / EC and
2003/108 / EC, regarding the reduction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and waste disposal", the appli-
ance is regarded as "Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment" (WEEE). The following symbol indicates that, at the end of its working life, the prod-
uct must not be disposed of together with urban waste but must be separated from other products and delivered to authorised waste collection
facilities. Sorted waste collection for the subsequent recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible scrapping of the product contributes to
preventing potentially negative effects on the environment and human health and promotes the reuse and / or recycling of its constituent materials.
Unlawful disposal of the product by the user is punishable by the administrative sanctions specified in (Italian) Decree Law no. 22/1977 (Art. 50 et
seq. Legislative Decree no. 22/1997).
