Automatic power-off

If the „ „ symbol is shown on the display, the measuring instru-
ment automatically switches itself off after approx. 30 minutes of
inactivity (sleep mode).
In order to deactivate the automatic power-off, the appliance must
first be switched off . First, press and hold the MAX/MIN button .
Whilst doing this, press the on/off button . Release both buttons as
soon as the display is activated. The „ „ symbol now no longer

appears on the display . The sleep mode function is now deactiva-
ted . Repeat the procedure to reactivate the function .
