f Use the provided protective glove (fig. 4) to protect the

1. Wash and rinse the hair well.

3. Brush or comb the hair.
4. Divide the hair into 2 cm thick and 4 cm wide sections.

5. Hold the curling tong upright and wrap the section of hair around
the conic heating element, from the base to the tip.

then carefully move the heating element off the curl.

Warning! Injuries and material damage due to incorrect
handling.
f Switch off the curling tong before cleaning them or per-
forming any maintenance. Disconnect the curling tong
from the power supply.
f Allow the curling tong to cool down completely.
Cleaning and care
Danger! Electric shock due to penetration of liquid.
f Never immerse the curling tong in water!
f Do not allow any liquid to get inside the appliance.
Caution! Danger from aggressive chemicals.
Aggressive chemicals could damage the curling tong and
accessories.
f Never use solvents or scouring agents.
f Only wipe the curling tong with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Problem elimination
Curling tong does not heat up
Cause: Defective power supply.
f Make sure that contact between the mains and the socket is fault-
less. Check the mains cable for possible damage.
In the event that this information does not help you resolve your
