suitability evaluation for donning by fit-test
First of all make sure that eyeglasses are compatible with the half mask, and that they allow a satisfactory vision, without
compromising the seal on the face of the half mask itself, also through the evaluation din a correct fit factor (FF - seal
factor). The use of POLIMASK halfmasks with filters implies that the above conditions for the use of filtering devices are
met. In case of doubt, self-contained breathing apparatuses are to be used. When the hazards call for respiratory tract
protection and also for the use of protective equipment, the compatibility of these devices with the mask must be
carefully tested. These additional protection measures must not jeopardize the full effectiveness of the respiratory
protective equipment. The hazards of this kind can be the following:

Liquid or gaseous substances which are harmful in contact with skin

Toxic substances which are irritating to skin

Radiations
-
Mechanical stress
-
Explosions in the ambient atmosphere

Oxygen-enriched atmosphere
