5.9 REMPLACEMENT DU JOINT D'ÉTANCHÉITÉ
• Nous recommandons de changer le joint d'étanchéité
qui assure la fermeture hermétique de la porte de votre
poêle une fois par année afin d'assurer un bon contrôle
de la combustion, de même qu'une efficacité et une
sécurité maximal.
• Pour changer le cordon de porte, ouvrir et défaire la
porte de sont ancrage. Retirez le joint endommagé
puis nettoyez la cavité ou il repose. Appliquez par la
suite une silicone haute température (vendu à cet
effet) dans la cavité puis y étendre le nouveau cordon.
Laissez reposer quelques heures avant d'installer la
porte à nouveau. Nous recommandons d'attendre
environ 24 heures avant de faire un feu dans votre
poêle.

5.9 REPLACEMENT OF DOOR GASKET
• We recommend changing the rope gasket that pro-
vides a tight seal for the door on an annual basis to
assure a good control of the combustion as well as a
high efficiency and a maximum security.
• To change the rope gasket, open and remove the door
from the stove. Then remove the old gasket and clean
the cavity where it sits. Apply high resistant silicon in
the cavity and then install the new gasket. Let it rest
for a couples of hours before reinstalling the door on
the stove. We recommend waiting for about 24 hours
before using the stove again.
