Location of the BHc 5x20 screws
Fitting kit
- 6 Ø5 plastic washers
- 4 M5 nylock nuts
- 4 BHc 5x10 screws
- 2 M6 nuts
- 2 M5 threaded fasteners
- 1 metal plate support
Assembly
- Remove both saddles and the rear fairing. Disconnect the indicators and the plate lighting.
- Remove the original plate holder.
- Place the 2 threaded fasteners on the undertray (see photo).
- Position the metallic number plate support on the taillight surround thanks to the 4 BHC 5x10 screws, the 4 Ø5
plastic washers and the 4 M5 nylock nuts.
- Place the whole around the taillight. Fit it on the undertray with 2 BHC 5x20 screws and the corresponding
threaded fasteners. On the upper side, use the original screws.
- Fit the undertray on the bike with 2 BHC 6x35 screws, 2 Ø6 plastic washers and 2 M6 nuts. Do not forget to
insert 2 spacers by screw between the original undertray and the provided one (see photo).
- Fit the low side of the undertray by screwing the self-tapping screw in the free plastic bowl.
- Replace the rear fairing in order to position the indicators. Drill a Ø4 hole to insert the wires. Wash the grease
on the undertray to stick the indicators then.
- Connect the plate lighting and the indicators. Then fit the number plate on its support
It is advised to check the slope of the number plate before assembly, and if
necessary, fold the plate metal support so as to preserve a slope in the standards (do
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data of
our painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicules made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* Any deterioration of the parts due to the presence of any excessive load in the undertray will not be guaranteed.
* A few tyres, faithful to ETRTO standards, may be in fact bigger and higher than dimensions engraved on the tyre (until + 10 mm). They may be not compatible with undertrays and rear huggers
which we made with original tyres and whose dimensions correspond to these ones engraved on tyre.
* Aluminium screws are garanted until 6 Nm by our suppliers. Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break screws.
