Fitting kit
- 3 Ø6 insert
- 3 6x15 BHC screws
- 3 plastic collars (to avoid boring the swinging arm)
- 2 Ø5 L: 5mm rubber spacers
- 1 piece of "scratch"
Assembly
- Remove the original chain guard.
- Remove the flexible flap on the swinging arm.
- Fix the front part of the provided chain guard using the screw and the original plastic rivet, or the
"scratch" for the 2008 models. Be careful : this chain guard must not to touch the chain while the
wheel rotation.
- Position the rear hugger and fix it with the original screws on the level on the chain guard, by
inserting, between the swinging arm and the rear hugger, both the rubber spacers.
- Mark the position of the drilling of the 3 inserts, taking care to center the rear hugger.
- Remove the rear hugger. Bore the Ø7 markings in the swinging arm. Put the inserts with a
custom trade tool.
- Attach the rear hugger, ensuring sure that it remains centered.
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data of
our painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicules made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* A few tyres, as Dunlop D207 or Michelin Pilot Power, not being for the given dimensions, are not compatible with undertray and rear hugger made for original tyres in standard dimensions.
* Harden the rear shock absorber while drivings with load or on dented roads.
* Aluminium screws are garanted until 6 Nm by our suppliers. Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break screws.
* Our hugger and undertray are compatible.
