Warning : The rear wheel will require removal to fit this hugger
Assembly
- Place bike on stand and remove the rear wheel and the original chainguard & hugger.
- Re-drill the brake hose mounting bracket with a 10mm Ø hole.
- Position the hugger on the bike and take note of its mounting points prior to fixing.
- The brake hose fixing bracket is fitted on the outside of the hugger, i.e. between the hugger
and swing arm.
- Replace wheel, ensuring that wheel and hugger are correctly centred.
- Tighten all nuts and screws and then after short test run check that all is secure.
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data
of our painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* A few tyres, as Dunlop D207 or Michelin Pilot Power, not being for the given dimensions, are not compatible with undertray and rear hugger made for original tyres in standard dimensions.
* Harden the rear shock absorber while drivings with load or on dented roads.
