Greasing the Rack

NOTE: Grease the rack every five hours.
1. See Figure 4-2. Use a screwdriver to remove the
11 guard screws, washers, and lock washers (A)
that secure the center guard (B).
2. Remove the guard screws, washers, and locknuts
that secure the flywheel and guard.

eye bolt (D).

4. See Figure 4-4. Pull the rack out and grease rack
teeth (E), top side of rack, and pinion (F).

5. Push the rack back in and reinstall the return
spring to the eye bolt when finishing greasing.
6. Reinstall the guards.

in (1.27 cm) to 5/8 in (1.59 cm). If the distance is
not between 1/2 in (1.27 cm) to 5/8 in (1.59 cm),
adjust per the following directions.
