6. Dirt Container & Filter:
Removal and Replacement
WARNING: Always unplug the vacuum cleaner
!
from the electrical outlet before removing the
dirt container.
WARNING: Do NOT use the vacuum cleaner
!
without ALL of the filters in place.
NOTE: For best performance, replace filters annually.
Emptying the Bagless Dirt Container
Lift the lid release catch at the front of the vacuum cleaner
to gain access to the dirt container (Fig.6/1).

Lift out the dirt container by the handle located on the top
of the dirt container. Lift the dirt container locking clip and
remove the lid (Fig.6/2).

Empty the contents of the dirt conatiner into the rubbish
bin. Replace the lid of the dirt container by aligning tabs
and inserts on the back of the dirt cup (Fig 6/3). Close the
lid until the locking clip 'clicks' into place.

Once the dirt container has been emptied, place the
container back into the vacuum cleaner ready for next use.
Emptying the Bagged Dirt Container
Lift the lid release catch at the front of the vacuum cleaner
to gain access to the dirt container (Fig.6/4).

Lift out the bag frame and full bag. Remove the full bag
from the frame (Fig.6/5) and dispose of in a rubbish bin.

Replace the bag frame with a new bag. If the bag is not
correctly positioned into the bag frame the lid of the
vacuum cleaner will not close.
